Regarding Dr Mustafa's Article

As I bleed when I read : http://www.libya-watanona.com/adab/mustafaa/ma14069a.htm , and while I am swimming with many of my countrymen in a sea of “nothingness” where we truly belong and, as I lick my remediless heartache in hope of relieving little pain, I reaffirm the wisdom of our old Bo-emm’arqa when he uttered:

“Shekh-akh wa laqa kherr-ba*!”

There was bent-annas, his wife, in his audience -seldom did she discuss anything beyond her tent-hold with him-… she commented …” watch it dear; the kids could hear you”

In which he replied loudly…”then you say it”

Terrified to disagree with her family’s god and with his look on life, she softly tells him… “Well dear, you could have said….wa-kall wa laqa bazeen”

Indeed! bazeen we heard…..and the wisdom of our grandpa was for ever lost!

Allah e-sam-hak ya soft-hearted Bent-annas, you should have let the old man scream it across the valleys!

* kherr-ba, to those who aren’t clear on what it’s:
A neglected dwelling that’s left to the elements to carve their signatures and isn’t in any plan to maintain or to fix. Only purpose before time flattens it is for the above and/or keeping household animals entertained.
