Does Qaddafi really think he can lecture the US on democracy? As a dictator who put an anchor on Libya's growth, and maybe even pulled it backwards, who the hell does he think he is giving the US tips on how a "real" democracy should be run? Someone who leaves no room for criticism or debate in "his" country has no leeway to speak on democracy. To think that the Columbia University invited him to speak at their conference via satellite in New York is even more ridiculous. One of the oldest universities established in America with great prestige has allowed probably the most brutal dictator since Pharaoh to speak on what he believes a real democracy is. The Dean of Columbia University should be ashamed of herself as well. She had the person responsible for killing the victims on the Pan Am flight speak to her students and staff on democracy! And for her to deny claims that the conference was not funded by Libya was even more appalling. We all know how Qaddafi gets his foolish words out, by money. That is the only explanation I can come up with for all of this because no one in their right mind would ever allow an idiot such as Qaddafi make a room fool of people stupider for enduring his speech without being financially compensated.

I pray to Allah (swt) to give us all the strength to overcome this ruthless dictator. And I pray that the dignity of the Libyan people be restored and one day Libya can be a model for Islamic countries as well as the rest of the world. Ameen.
