I do not understand the facination of many older libyans with the pre-1969 Libya. Many of these Libyans were just young children less than 20 years old. I believe when they think of the years prior to 1969, they remeber their childhood and innocenece. They remeber having dreams and growing up. I do not think it would have made any difference what the government looked like at the time.These people want their childhood back. That is why they want to go back over 35 years.Those Libyans need to rethink what they are looking for. Showing the old Libyan flag is meaningless and somewhat childess.

As libya moves forward with being part of the world community and re-establishes herself as a leading nation in the Arabic word, why don't these Libyans give it some credit?
They need to be more positive. They need to get involved in rebuilding. Instead of hoping for failure, they need to get with the program. They need to wake up. Libya has come a long way since pre-1969. Libya no longer has shacks. Libya has Free-ways. Libya has major airports.
Every Village has electricity. There are high raise building housing Libyan families some along the shore right on the sea. Libyans are having a great life. Most Libyans work only about 2-3 hours a day, and they still get paid.
