Grave Destruction

Following our previous concern and fears, about Gaddafi's family's intention to dig out the remains of Al-haj Muhammad Masaud from Baniwalid, Libya. On July 26 around 3:00 am, Gaddafi's agents desecrated his grave and took his body with them. The unthinkable did happen, and this sick man proved his cruelty against even elderly dead Libyans. I don't know what the significance of the dead body is to this regime.

Regardless of our affiliation and political background we should condemn these disgraceful actions, which contradict our beliefs and culture in one voice. We should tell the world that Gaddafi is not just someone who we disagree with, but a sadist with no shame to mutilate an elderly man's body. Despite Gaddafi's recent submission, he isn't trustworthy and a man of no moral.

At the same time that his cronies announced the release of scores of libyan hostages in Abusaleem and Alkuifiah, the same Gaddafi insulted us, as Libyans and Muslims by digging our graves and discarding our bodies. We forgot so quickly when the same madman paraded the bodies of Shuhada Jabhatu-Alingad in 1984 in our streets. We forget that his henchmen grabbed the feet of hanged men in our squares. That is the real face of Gaddafi. He is a real danger to the Libyans and others to be at large and free. Gaddafi, in our eyes and minds is the rapist, the killer, the thief and the psychopath whose place is behind bars in a high security prison, not an opponent to deal with in any way of respect.

It's unacceptable that Gaddafi and his family are welcomed in many countries with a red carpet while their hands are stained with our blood. This madman should be prosecuted as a common criminal and locked in with rapist and mass murderers.
