To Mustafa And The Like!|
I read, with sorrow and shock, the recent letter that Mustafa posted on this
page on Feb. 10, 2002. In that letter, he praised Fawzi Abdel-Hameed and
encouraged him to continue with his mockery of Islam and its complete devine
way of life.
It is one thing to allow somebody expressing his/her thinking even if it is
against the norm or logic, but it is quite another to endorse such nonsense
thinking, especially when it goes directly against basic tenets of our Deen
that Allah (SWT) has chosen for us all.
Akhi Mustafa: Fear Allah and do not (deliberately or otherwise) misinterpret
the Glorious Quran. Those who know only the basics about Islam certainly
know (apparently unlike you) that Islam is an integral part of the State,
and that there is No separation between Islam and the State as many verses
in the Quran clearly state. You also incorrectly interpreted the verse which
can be roughly translated as " Whoever wants to believe or disbelieve can do
so" as EVERYBODY is free to follow Islam or to leave it aside. This verse
and others similar to it in the Glorious Quran, my Brother Mustafa, do not
address Muslims. They are addressing people of other faiths or creeds, and
they show that Islam is tolerant of other religions and does not force
OTHERS to enter the fold of Islam.
Dear Akhi Mustafa: I advise myself, you , and all my brothers and sisters to
fear Allah and to adhere firmly to the Deen of Allah. Politically-correct
postures, if they are against Islam, will be very costly in this life and ,
more importantly, when we meet Allah (SWT).
Your brother in Islam,
