Dr. Jaballah and the Libyan Geography

I would like to remind Dr. Jaballah Musa Hassan that the Libyan borders extend from Raas-Judair in the west to Musaad in the east, and from the Mediterranean Sea in the north to Tibesti in the south and does not stop at Ajdabiah. For your information there are Zwaiyah tribes in Ajdabiah, Al-Kufra, and Al-Shati'. There are Magharbah in Ajdabiah and in Baniwalid just as there are Attalhi in Al-Baidha, and Al-Garabuli near Tripoli. I believe that you are a good writer and one of the finest Libyan children who is an unselfish patriot and not a narrow-minded regionalist. You should send your regards to Tripoli, Mesrata, Al-Zawiah, Zwara, Gherian, Baniwalid and Sabha and to all Libyan villages and towns.

By the way, you wrongly identified Sirt as a 'Gaddadfah' land, it is the Libyans' land where the Misrati, Warfalla, Firjan, Al-Hamamlah, and Al-Abadlah live, and above all it is part of Libya for all Libyans which Gaddafi confiscated exactly as he did with other parts of Libya.

The current prime minister of the Gaddafi regime is from Ejdabiah, and the longest serving prime minister and Gaddafi's wife are from the same town of Al-Baidha. Nevertheless, the two beloved Libyan cities Al-Baidha and Ejdabia are not Gaddafi territories.

I understand your compliment to the creator of this good website, but I do not understand your compliment to Saber Abdulmajid, is it because he is a Bedouin or for his participation in the struggle to liberate Libya from this regime. You forget the thousands of Libyan martyrs and prisoners of consciousness and it would be nice if you sent a message of sympathy to their families in the Eid time. Please accept my regards and respect.

Saleh Mansour
